I have added some new photographs around the site, not too many just a couple here and there, replaced some old ones that had lived out their website days. The new categories are coming along have been working on some lambent photography. Spending more time outdoors now, expect to see a whole new animal section as well as flower/plant. The progress had been slow, tedious if you will. Focusing a lot on the studio stuff right now, but trying to get a new set out for a nice upcoming series. So yes this does mean I am holding out on you a bit, keeping some things for myself, but it'll just be a bigger surprise.
Expect the lambent section to pick up in the next couple of weeks, as I am doing some experimenting with a few new techinques, built myself a nice set up that will allow me to produce more variety as well as minimize the time spent creating one image. (That being said "Starscape" took me almost 2 hours to create, and its just a rough draft of the final project).
Working on getting some stuff out in the community so the website can pick up more traffic and possibly make this a more profitable venture, would always like to spend less time in the studio and more time freelancing. But hopefully my new show will open some doors and maybe I can get some prints on some shelves.
So as always hope your enjoying my work and feel free to contact me about anything
Andy

So as I mentioned in my previous blog I will be traveling a bunch this month and already started last weekend. I have uploaded some new pics to the ANIMALS page, so please enjoy.
Other then that some minor enhancements have been made around the site, and more are in progress, nothing to extreme, just some things to make the site a little more attractive and user friendly.
Hope you enjoy the new photos, more on the way!
Andy

I have added more sections. Some of the originals were getting a little packed and some newer images didn't fit well into any of the existing categories. I also added the contact section, just to give everyone easy access to me directly. So if you have any questions you can send me an e-mail or as always just comment on the blog and I will read it.
I am currently in the design and prep phases of a new project so once that comes to fruition I will be posting those on the site. Other then that winter has begun to subside and now having moved I have a bunch of exploring to do, with every great adventure comes a bunch on my photographs so I'm looking forward to that.
I will also be travel more then usual in the upcoming weeks. I have been bound to this city a little longer then I can stand, with the exception of one trip up to Buffalo and Niagara Falls. The Falls may be more impressive on the Canadian side, however the american side has a great charm in the fact that (other then a plethora of parking areas) the natural beauty still remains. It may also have helped that we were their when no one else was, a cold Sunday in early March.
I have posted one picture in the "Landscapes" section of the falls, I was using a new technique I've been trying and I personally love the photo.
Thanks for reading,
Andy

I'm sure some of you have noticed that you now get forwarded to AmalgamPhoto.com. Along with this changes are a plethora of changes to come.
A new purchase section, with more options, and more photography updated, more to come. Any suggestions are always welcome just leave a comment on the blog.
Thanks
Andy

Hello everyone,
It's been quite some time since I last posted on the site. A couple additions have been made. We're slowly adding inventory to the purchase page, uploaded a couple new images that I have taken recently. I've been experimenting with some new techniques and it's been quite a fun and interesting process. Have officially found a name for the company "Amalgam Photography," we will soon be purchasing a new domain name, getting rid of the ".weebly," Got rid of the forum in favor of using the blog comments as the main source of interaction. I think that's all for the updates over the past month.
I will be attempting to sell some images next month at a local shop, in "talks" with a couple of places about getting some consignment space. A lot of the offline efforts have limited my time online, but everything seems to be falling in place so hopefully I can write more and better yet get out and shoot more.

Thanks for reading,
Andy

So if you've been browsing around you have probably noticed some changes to layout and coloring. I'm attempting to maximize the look of the site, hopefully all is working according to plan. That is where you come in, if you like, dislike or would like something on the site please tell me, the more feedback I get from you guys the easier it is for me to make the site better.
So please go and have a look around, the changes will continue. Prints will be available for purchase the 15th, and framed images should also be available that same day.
Have a good week
Andy

So I added some new photographs in a couple of sections, not alot but Its a step in the right direction, right now the focus is on getting the prints up for sale by the fifteenth and trying to figure out all the pricing and logistics with that.
But that's all coming along swimmingly and baring any hitch in the process we should be up and running possibly even before the 15th so stay tuned.
Thanks

So if you've been looking around you may have noticed some changes. Hopefully these changes make the site a little easier to navigate.
Thanks
Andy

p.s. Any suggestions to improve the site or things you would like to see please feel free to tell me in the forum, or just comment on this blog.

I'm back from my holiday hiatus. A lot more updates will be added this week and in the coming weeks. I plan to have prints for sale, including framed images, by December 15th.
The "Abstract" page is now back up and running. It went down while I was doing some edits to the site from a computer where I didn't have back-up files. Now everything is back up and running.
Thanks for all the help picking images to submit
Andy

I need everyone's help.
If everyone could take a second to go through all my photographs and pick out their top 3 favorites, that would be a huge help for me. I am currently attempting to showcase some of my work and wanted a general consensus on which photos are the best.
Thanks
Andy
